The card is there and inserted properly, and this morning, all was well! The report was there from last night, but the night before was still missing and I don't expect I'll ever get it.
But there was a difference. Normally I remove the mask, the flow stops automatically and the display appears, and it has a happy face and the QR code. But this morning it had a happy face and summary of my stats. To get the QR code I had to fiddle with the dial. Therefore... I am speculating that it was having some sort of software upgrade. And as seems typical with upgrades, they have to change and complicate things.
I have no idea if that's true, that it updates itself. I assume so because of this behavior.
In any case the moral of the story is... Unplug it and plug it back in.
