CPAP use & throat pain
Curious if CPAP use can cause throat pain? Not sore throat due to dryness, but more like muscle pain/strain? It's more noticeable when bending down, perhaps due to added pressure. Anyone experience or heard of this?

Has your MD looked at any potential spinal/neck issues?
Re: CPAP use & throat pain
If we tend not to change position during sleep, we can end up with a stiff neck that manifests the next day when the neck muscles engage as we lean forward. Good hose management, such as a hanger device, can allow the body/brain to feel free to move around more as we get used to PAP. As an example, I use something similar to this when I travel: https://a.co/d/dYnWrIz . And a good pillow that works well for YOU can often be key.
When I awaken at night, I consciously change sleep position a bit so I don't end up with a minor stiff neck the next day. It used to happen more often before I landed on a pillow that worked well for me and a way to set up my hose so I felt free to turn over in my sleep.
If I remember correctly, you have been on PAP for a few months. I hope you have now settled in to using it all night every night and are enjoying full benefits.

Re: CPAP use & throat pain
Thank you both. I have not discussed with my MD yet. I will try to change position more often, and see if that helps. I try to avoid sleeping on back/stomach now, so that only leaves side sleeping position. I do try to switch from left to right side and back during the night. I actually have no problem using APAP all night, every night (except for this throat issue). I don't really feel any more rested in the morning however, unfortunately. I was hoping I'd feel invigorated. I'm going to also try 3 nights on, 1 off, repeat. Not ideal, but "compliant".
