TIME TO REPLACE THE OLD RESPERONICS M-SERIES A-FLEX MACHINE!

Post by Georgio » Sat Nov 23, 2024 10:47 am

But with what? Has someone here made a successful transition from an M-Series to another machine and are happy with the therapy? I would of course stick with Respironics if that were possible. Comparing Manufacturers years ago I found Respironics's algorithm treated my particular apnea events well. Please let me know I am considering an AirSense 10 or 11?

For machines that are currently on the US market, it's hard to beat the Resmed AirSense 10 and 11 APAPs.

The differences between the AirSense 10 and the AirSense 11 are minimal. My advice would be to pick the one that you can get the best deal on.

I ordered an AirSense 11 for $692.00 on Black Friday Sale. I hope it treats my vibratory snores and Hypopnias, I tend to have lots of small events. At least the data should be much easier to access without the card, cardreader etc. :D

I was debating over an AirSense 10 or 11, so I told my doctor that I wanted an 11. When I visited my provider, I was expecting an 11, but he had a 10 ready for me. We talked about it and I decided to just go ahead and accept the 10 and get on with it. Later I checked the web for differences and couldn't really find anything different with the physical aspects of the two machines. I'm now using the 10 and am having no problems with it. Just sayin'.

I switched from a Respironics SI auto to a ResMed 10 APAP machine (many years ago). I thought it would be a big deal, it was not. I actually prefer the algorithm of the ResMed. Slept fine from the very first night.
