[Resolved] Setting the Correct Time
The time on my AirSense 10 is set to two hours ahead (for example, at 8 AM the display reads 10:00 AM). When I attempt to set it to the correct time it returns a message that says the time cannot be set in the past. How do I reset the correct time?

Re: Setting the Correct Time
Try this
Don't use the machine at all during the day today.
Wait until right before bedtime tonight and try again to set the clock back the 2 hours.
If it doesn't work report back here.

Re: Setting the Correct Time
You can't set the time back into an existing session, nor past the ResMed end-of-day (noon).
So wait until at least 2 hours past noon and past the time of your last session.

Re: Setting the Correct Time
I would never have figured this out if not for this thread! I was trying in the morning. When I got my new machine, they gave it to me with the wrong time...along with other incorrect settings that I had to fix. How to get the time adjusted after setup was not clear. I am about to go try to change the time! EDIT--it worked. So simple.
Question: does the machine change for daylight savings? I have it set on airplane mode.
Thanks for this info!

Mine's on airplane mode, I change the time manually.I'm not a Robot wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 10:33 pm

Re: Setting the Correct Time
Even if NOT in airplane mode the machine can't auto adjust for daylight savings time changes.
For the AirSense/AirCurve 10 clock changes we MUST do it manually if we want to change the clock.
Airplane mode only affects the transmission of data to the MyAir website. Doesn't affect the clock at all.
Remember not every place in the world uses DST anyway.

Re: Setting the Correct Time
Thanks Pugsy. With all the technology that does change automatically, even when driving from one time zone to the next, I thought it might. When the time changed recently it left me two hours behind my machine. If I used my Oximeter watch, it would have really messed things up. I was too tired to figure it out until I saw this post.Pugsy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 11:52 amEven if NOT in airplane mode the machine can't auto adjust for daylight savings time changes.

I WISH we didn't have DST where I live. It messes with my already fragile sleep maintenance.
Re: Setting the Correct Time
I don't like messing with the clock twice a year because a while back I really screwed up the calendar when doing a time change and put the date forward and couldn't change it back without erasing old data.I'm not a Robot wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 12:46 pmThanks Pugsy. So now I just change the way OSCAR reports the time with the clock drift feature in OSCAR twice a year.

Re: Setting the Correct Time
That would be an issue that I don't want to have to deal with. I didn't know OSCAR had a clock drift. A lot of things have changed, since what feels like a million years ago, when I first was using the S9, and everyone was using the ResMed software. Now that I have the correct time set, I will look at that feature for Spring Forward. Since you learned the hard way, I don't have to. Thanks again.Pugsy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 1:03 pm

The data we need is on the SD.Pugsy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 1:03 pm

I take out the SD before changing the date on the machine.
Make sure I have everything in OSCAR
Change the date in the afternoon
Reinsert the SD.
If the machine does suggest erasing the data I recheck the date

Re: Setting the Correct Time
UPDATE FROM OP...
I finally managed to reset the time back two hours from where it was set when I got the AS10. Haven't the foggiest idea how I did that, so I assume that when I attacked the problem again it must have been in the afternoon.
