I'm in love with my cpap also. Probably because I'm so FAT that no one else will even look at me never mind sleep with me. If they did I might crush them if I roll over. Yes , I'm in love with my cpap. Do you think it loves me ? I know my DME does.

Ionizer - Since you are dreaming you must be getting into REM sleep. Good for you. But are your forgetting to take your meds?

Seriously, for whats its worth, a sleep doc at an AWAKE talk said that SSRI antidepressant medications e.g. paxil, zoloft, prozac et al interfer or supress the REM phase of sleep. So if one has OSA and depression check with a good shrink.

Well now I know I'm in love. Last night , when the lights were low and I was in my bed. She kissed me. That slow pulsing of the activa mask in unison with my breath. All night long. The soft glow of her buttons cast a glow on the ceiling. The pulsing glow of her warm humidifier pilot lite. Her warm breath giving me life. Never resting. just the slow rush of her warm breath. Yes, she loves me I say as I fall asleep to her purring beside me, her soft heated hose brushes my forehead. It feels so relaxing. When I awake she is still there. Still breathing life into me. No this wasn't a one night stand , she loves me, she is still here beside me , her buttons glowing more beautiful then ever. Her pilot pulsing. Now her breath is soft , almost unnoticable. I feel for the mask to insure she is still alive. She is still breathing. We have become one. I love her and she loves me. The two of us , inseperable. At least until a newer model with more bells and whistles and flashing lites comes along. I hope she is a bit smaller also. I'd love to wrap my face around a young petite little sister of my big Resmed Spirit. The S-8. But she is faithfull and has plenty of life remaining so I'll keep her for now. Because I love her and she loves me. I guess I did get lucky tonight

Yes , but she sleeps in another room ! Your're just jealous because I have a mutual understanding with my cpap. It keeps me alive and i won't throw it in the trash. And you won't hear me whinning about it on this forum. I try to make the most of what I have . I 'm not very heavy but am loosing all that I can. Wont stop till I get to reach my goal. It might not "cure " my OSA but I'm having a ball getting there.

While I'm at it have a question. Why am I the only one with sweat drenched clothes at the gym ? Whats the secret? Am I that out of shape or am I just working too hard.

Time to eat my healthy lunch.

Maybe I'll get lucky tonight ! LOL

Sadly (for you) that's just genetics. I know some of the thinnest people who still have overactive sweat glands. Some have them in their hands (leading to cold, clammy handshakes), overactive pits is not at all uncommon.

There are things which can be done about it, operations and what not, if it's so bad that you're embarassed by it.

(I had a math teacher in HS who, no matter the temperature, ended up with very large wet rings under each arm pit every day.)

Great story Ionizer. They OBVIOUSLY don't have a Resmed Spirit. I can relate to all the blinking lights and Purring.

Hmmm. I never have that problem. Not when I lift heavy weights, not when I eat cabbage, and CERTAINLY not on a daily basis when I've done nothing what so ever to trigger it.

Rumors to the contrary have been spread by my wife to garner sympathy for herself, and gather valuable "Marriage Points" to be redeamed in future arguments.

Isn't it just like a man, to consider dumping old faithful for a younger, newer model, yet stringing old faithful along, depriving her of a future. Soon she'll be so old and decrepit and once dumped for said newer model, she won't be loved ever again. You say you love, yet you intend to be cruel. ......Sigh! Just like a man! .....
