new innovations

Post by metaltech » Wed Jul 31, 2024 12:08 pm

I have been out of the loop since the Phillips recall. Are there any new innovations since I now have Medicare and see my sleep Dr in Aug. I have been a Dream station user since the beginning, I am using the Bleep Eclipse mask solution Thank you

Following the recall, Philips have ceased selling CPAP / BiPAP devices in the US. If you're looking at a new machine, you'll need something other than a Dreamstation.
* Download Oscar
* Oscar help
* An alternative to Oscar - try SleepHQ

I have no medical training or qualifications. Take my advice for what it's worth.

I only went through the Philips recall process last week, but since August 9th is the final deadline, I would like to ask if the OP asked for BOTH
a. The new machine from Philips (mine was refurbished), and,
b. The $150/$250/$350 from Angeion

$55.63 Device Payment Award (just for giving Angeion your serial number)
$100/$200/$300 Device Return Award (for sending the machine back to Philips)

As for a new machine, I'm doing fine with the ResMed AirSense 11 (although I hate that they're so sleazy they made it 24VDC with three pins just so you can't easily use a normal 12VDC battery with it).

Looks pretty easy to me...

I have the 90w Ax10 version, plus the socket with alligator clips.
