Hello,

had been using cpap and it had been helping until i started not feeling well and we couldnt figure out why, long story short we found my GF has mold in the walls of her house, it ruined my clothes and alot of things as I am hypersensitive - she has since sold the house and we have tried to move into another place but she had brought a few things after she agreed to get rid of everything , that is what the doc had said was the only solution .. i have ruined several cpaps and spent several thousand dollars on new cpaps .. she came to stay with me one night and i could tell something she had on was bothering me ,, i used the cpap that night and now everytime I use it i get a headache.. so looks like now I need ANOTHER cpap, has anything else dealt with something like this? its been quite the nightmare to say the least.. at this point i am considering cutting ties because it seems the stuff is everywhere in her car etc and its been affecting my health / wallet!

tx in advance.

Say what? Are you saying that the mold in the house was SO prevalent that it ruined your clothes? How so?

If the mold was THAT bad, how is it that your GF isn't feeling the effects of it? You expected her to discard ALL of her clothing/everything? Is that what you did?

If the mold is/was so bad that it ruined multiple cpap machines, one of you most likely would end up in the hospital.

And your GF was able to sell a house in that condition? Were the new owners informed of this mold issue? If not, this could come back to bite her on the butt.

Sensitivity can be severe without becoming clinical.
It's not the same as an allergy, but it deserves attention nonetheless.
Orphan disease, anyone? (No, thank you)
Until then, you may have some difficult choices to make.
