I agree!

Folks here have received a settlement, WTH?

And no one talks about it? It would be a BIG help to those of us still attempting to get compensation to hear of other's success stories.
Nobody has gotten a settlement yet because the court isn't even set to give final approval to the settlement until April 11th!

That's what I thought but Chunky said something about folks being 'fulfilled' and I took that to mean that some have received a settlement. I should have known better than to take that a face value...

Has anyone else gotten paid? I don't recall what payment method I chose, but it wasn't Zelle because my credit union doesn't support it. I have two claims I am waiting for payment on. I also put in a device replacement claim, but there is only $15 million total for device replacement claims so I don't expect to get much. Users have until August 4th to file claims, and then they will divvy up the $15 million.

I spoke with a rep last week.

Payments are going to be distributed on Aug 9. Some folks have received payments already, but these are the folks who selected the accelerated payment options.

I thought I selected the advanced payment option, but no payment yet. Not a big deal. It will just be a bonus if I actually get the payments. I don't need the money to live on.

Today is the day!

Payments and reimbursements are supposed to start going out today. Yeah, well see about that.

It would be nice if folks who have received their payments would say so here. Just for the record, and so that others know what's going on.

Thanks

Update:

The Court issued Final Approval of the Settlement on April 25, 2024, and the Settlement is now Final.

For those Users eligible for the Accelerated Implementation Option (“AIO”) and who previously completed the required AIO paperwork, Device Payment and Device Return awards will begin being issued in late June and will continue on a rolling basis thereafter. The AIO Election Deadline has passed.

Other cash benefits under this Settlement will begin to be distributed later this summer and will continue on a rolling basis thereafter.

Device Replacement Awards and Payer Awards will not begin to be distributed until after all claims submitted by the August 9, 2024 deadline have been fully processed.

On June 27, 2024 the Court granted preliminary approval of a class settlement agreement, the creation of a Medical Advancement Program, and the release of medical monitoring claims. More information regarding that settlement agreement, the Medical Advancement Program, and important deadlines can be found in the Notice of Proposed Class Action Settlement and at the following website: https://www.respironicsmedicaladvancementprogram.com.

I am assuming there will never be a payout for this. I jumped through all the hoops and I am pretty certain I selected the advanced payout option, but I have seen nothing. I know they have my address right as I received the mailings about the settlement.

3 weeks past the deadline and haven't received anything. Keep that money in an interest bearing account I'm assuming.

Those, like me, who selected the advanced payment option should have been paid by now. I'm not holding my breath on ever getting paid. It will be a bit of bonus money if it ever happens.

Does anyone know how to check the status of my payment for my settlement?

Just spoke with the lawsuit customer service, and they said the payments just started going out last week, and will go out in rolling batches, there is no way to track them, and she didn't know when the bulk of them would go out. So if you haven't received anything, it doesn't mean you won't.
