Anyone get anything from this settlement yet? I went ahead and set up Zelle which supposedly allows faster payment. Nothing.

No, I read though all the procedures I'll have to go thru to get anything refunded and have not revisited the labyrinth of forms etc. I will need to get motivated to do all these extra steps - determine which three of the six claim numbers they've sent me are actually valid, send back two machines, fill out more forms for each of those, prove I replaced them and what i spent on that, etc. etc.

Much like the kind of motivation one needs to do their taxes. Dreaded but necessary.

It isn't 100% clear, but it appears payments will be made after August of this year.

There are some fixed amounts like the "incentive" payment to return a recalled machine that i think would be paid straight away, and then other payment types like reimbursement for purchased equipment that will be based on a share of some pooled settlement fund which would go out after all the dust has settled and they know how to carve up that pie, in August I guess.

Since August is quite a ways off, is there any guarantee
that the timeline will not be extended when it pleases them?
Repeatedly, as that would not surprise me one bit.

I just got off the phone with the HOTLINE.

I wanted to check on the status of my awards since the website is supposed to be able to supply that information and it's not.

They're telling me that the website is having issues. Imagine that.
I just checked on the status of my claim here, https://www.respironicscpap-elsettlement.com/

We should be able to check the status of our claims at the above site. The last time that I checked the thing told me that I was ineligible for anything. That's when I called them up and inquired. They told me that the site was goofed up and to check again at a later date. Now when I check in the same way as I did previously, it goes one step further than it did last time. It now tells me that It's going to send out a 6-digit code to my email address and to enter the code to continue. The site appears to have my correct address, but I never receive a code. Surprise!!!

Nope, no email anywhere. I've received email from them in the past, so they certainly have my correct address.

I tried again a couple of times by resubmitting the request. Nothing. I did wait an appropriate amount of time between requests.

I spent some 'quality' time on the phone yesterday with the Settlement Administrator attempting to verify my submissions for the recall.

Has anyone been able to verify their submissions concerning the returned machines here?

https://www.respironicscpap-elsettlemen ... rification

At this site above you're supposed to be able to enter your claim ID and your confirmation code, the system then, is supposed to, generate a passcode that gets emailed to your address on file. You then enter the code in the boxes and its supposed to take you to your info. I was on the phone while the agent 'walked me though' the process. The problem is, the system never generated the code/never emailed it. The agent was clueless. Surprise! It's not working this morning either...

I have not attempted anything with this yet. Because Philips portal sucked, and I had to call them, I now have 5 ID numbers instead of three, two refurb machines I have to send back, document that, in order get the refunds for the money I spent on replacements, and send back original crap machines to get that payment - it's a bureaucratic moonscape and my spacesuit is still at the dry cleaners. Maybe after tax day

As I mentioned in my post above, I tried the verification process again just now. No dice.

The system is still not generating the passcode. The pop-up window (for entering the passcode) has a portion of my email address viewable and according to the rep I spoke with, that means that I am indeed in the system, I just can't get access to my info. Looks like more quality time is needed on the phone for me and the Settlement administrator's rep.

It seems that I'm that I'm the only one posting in this thread lately, I can't be the only person here attempting to get reimbursement for this mess, am I?

Faith, hope, and trust.
Misdirected?
Others have either been fulfilled; or have given up in disgust.

I submitted the form on line on Feb. 25, 2024, then received an email saying it had been received. Nothing since then.
