So, I had an appointment with my sleep doctor. I told her about my poor sleep despite good CPAP results (number of OA/H well below 5/h). I also mentioned to her the numerous occasions where I have a poor sleep with a disturbed air flow without OA signaled by the machine.
The decision was to do, a new sleep test, under CPAP.

Results:
Excellent CPAP results: AHI = 0.6, Spao2 excellent. She was more than happy.!
But a poor sleep overall, due to numerous arousals triggered by leg movements.

CPAP did the job of breaking the OA's, but can't do more, as Pugsy said.
We must now try to solve the problem of leg movement. Which is another difficult story.

Thank you,in any case, for your help and the quality of your diagnosis.

Thank you

Good luck, Albatros, thank you for updating us.
Forum member kteague had a bad case of periodic leg movement revealed when CPAP solved her sleep breathing problems - and eventually found a solution. You may find her posts encouraging.

The leg movements really ruin our sleep, but your doctor should be able to prescribe some medication to help this improve.

I have gone through periods of years where they were severe and torturous. Luckily, right now they are in complete remission, but I took a parkinson medication for years to keep them under control.

There are others on this forum who are very knowledgeable about PLMD or RLS and if you change the name of your thread, they might give you some helpful advice.

My husband had really bad restless leg syndrome. After he had been on his pap machine for a good while he noticed that the leg shaking went away. I think it's likely that yours will go away over time too.
