consider the privacy and security concerns
Don't you hate it when the doctor gives you a new prescription and says, "Here's a warning. Don't be surprised if the pharmacist gives you a strange look when you hand him this prescription."?

Was that in the 1800s?

Because back then no one could be active or healthy, since there was no technology available for that.

And instead of aisles full of crap you had beans, flour, sugar, coffee, jerky and that's it.

Made shopping a helluva lot easier.

That was all that was considered "Vital," since back then "Signs" were about the weather, "Tracking" led to making your own jerky, "Rings" were for hitching up a team of mules, an "Apple" was from a tree, and eating one of those a day was enough to keep the blasted sawbones away.

Although 40 was also considered a ripe old age to die and anything beyond that was considered gravy. So there was that.

Maybe Granny will get me a Galaxy Watch for 99 bucks from Walmart for Black Friday.

Poor Lazarus hates tracking devices and wants everyone else to hate them.

I love my Apple watch.
Yes, I'm so glad to have an Apple watch. When it was purchased, I didn't realize how many functions I would use throughout the day and how often I would refer to the watch.

As far as privacy concerns, I volunteered for a medical research study by a major institution. They track every move I make while wearing the watch. I gave them my complete medical records and complete health insurance records. I don't know the name of a single person at the institution. They are not covered by HIPAA. How much do you think I am worried about privacy?

You might be confused. Mine is worn on the wrist, not on the ankle like yours.
