Exactly my thought.
Too bad he has to deal with the ego wars as well as disturbed sleep.

Please note that I am unable to comment further on the substance of this discussion in view of my horse-of-a-different-color getting switched midstream back when I beat it to death in a flurry of misused/mixed metaphors earlier in this thread.

READ my post, what it said was that a medical professional contends that "BiPaP can be a viable option" and provides references to that effect.

Your argument is with the authors...... not with me!
You're misquoting your quote.
A medical professional contends that "BiPaP can be a viable option BPAP - It can be a viable option in hypercapnic CSA"
Go back and read the original quote @ viewtopic/t187065/Seems-Like-I-have-Cen ... 0#p1444553.

That is the exact wording from the publication.

The way I read that is that BiPaP can be a viable option in a number of differing Central Apnea causations. Since the OP does not know the causation, BiPaP treatment should not be ruled out without further investigation.

Yeah, and too bad.

There are huge discrepancies in the Sleep Report.

Like the RD Respiratory Disturbance is listed as 2.2, yet the Physician Interpretation notes an AHI of 10.9.

7.5% hypoxia?

Crapola.

That's the artifact at the end of the study where the device has been discontinued. That oximetry at the end isn't connected to a human. Or probably anything.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure he's enjoyed my ego wars a lot more than yours.

why would anyone think that? there were no "ego wars" up to the point he was last here. people seem to want to jump to any conclusion that supports their prejudices. but really we can't know why the op hasn't been back.

many is the time that someone will come back to their thread weeks or months later and apologize for their absence.

i don't see why this would be any different?

My ego wars are the best ego wars. No one has better ego wars than I do. I make great ego wars, and I make them inexpensively. Mark my word.*

I don't have an argument with either.

The authors have a reasonable, basic summary of CSA (including mention of ASV).

And you have NFI what you're talking about.

Excellent example of the childishness, used to support one's ego.
When one can not stand being corrected, resort to vulgarities and personal retorts.
Just like my third-graders.
