*technically* a smartphone
My understanding is that when we all get our soon-to-come "A.I.-phones," most of our posts and replies to cpaptalk will be made completely without us! Now THAT'S
progress!!!
(Please don't tell Jeff I just generated and sent this.)
Your secret's safe with me.

Popcorn, anyone?
Not for me, though.
My dentist made me promise.

thank you. i've been holding on to this one-
even though the topic has drifted (and i really don't mind) i've learned some stuff here. particularly how others view this forum when they are logged in.
good stuff!

I almost always use my phone here, not my laptop or desktop or chromebook. I don't stay logged in to the forum, but instead log in each time, using my browser to automatically fill in the password. I don't have any notifications sent to my email, but I do use the in-forum notifications of PMs. I wear briefs. My social-security number is . . . Wait. I guess I'll stop there.
Enjoy the popcorn. Now that SAG-AFTRA are on strike, cpaptalk may be the best entertainment choice available for a while. Am I even allowed to watch TV now, or is that crossing a line?

Here's some butter for your poppycorn.
I just realized that with all this fodder here about posting "I sent you a PM" this is done almost daily on FB y'all need to get over there and straighten the rest of this messed up world out.
So its not unusual behavior to notify someone you sent them a PM.
It's just one more thing for sleep deprived people to argue about.

I considered recording the bullfrog while driving--but realized he'd probably fry the mike.

In my experience, maintenance of operational integrity requires a previously agreed-upon inconspicuous signal that a dead drop has been initiated. Anything less than that would be considered suboptimal tradecraft.

yeah, because this forum is SOOOO much like facebook.
but hey, let's have all of the forums and social media and bulletin boards and blogs be exactly alike.
yeah, that's the ticket.

If I may suggest a song for your band, perhaps you could consider a cover version of one by native-Texan Don Henley, who wrote and sang . . .
"Sometimes to keep it together
You got to leave it alone
. . . Maybe someday we will find
That it wasn't really wasted time"
