Cpap/apap without heated hose

Is anyone aware of a newer model apap/cpap that is designed not to use a heated hose? I received a new cpap a while ago and it came with a heated hose and no matter what I did I had substantial condensation. I tried unplugging the hose, so it wasn't heated and put a cover on the hose as well as making the adjustments to the lowest settings. Nothing has worked. I don't believe any cpap/apap that is designed to have a heated hose will work for me so I'm currently using my old machine that was part of the recall which obviously isn't a good solution. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You don't have to use a heated hose if you don't want to.
All cpap machines now that are heated hose compatible can also be used with a non heated hose.
It would be a big help to know exactly which machine you are using...which mask...where you live and what your ambient room air temp is.

And how did you get pressurised air when the hose was "unplugged"?
I don't believe any cpap/apap that is designed to have a heated hose will work for me
a mistaken belief. Are you confusing hose and humidifier?
Buy a simple hose (non-heated) that fits your new machine, and turn the humidifier off.

However, your rainout (condensation) might get worse with a standard (not heated) hose.

It doesn't work that way.
The machine isn't "designed to use a heated hose" it's got a heated hose added on to reduce condensation. Higher temps on the hose reduce condensation.
Lower your humidity level if the condensation is bothering you, or put the machine lower than your bed, so the condensation can run back down into the machine.
