Some use an email account they don't check; just go on the forum website and don't notice that their PM counter has changed.

i'm going to start a new thread about private mail and how it is used in the forum.
pugsy will be in at any moment to scold us for messing with a thread and warn us to get back on topic.

You all are derailing a helping thread started by a newbie that is asking about centrals.
Hmmmm centrals was the original content and things morphed into a PM pissing contest derailment.....
Back on topic please....and in case people have forgotten...the topic wasn't the value of PMs or not.
