See how you had heavy flow limitations right at the beginning? You also had an hypopnea and a snore. I'm going to guess you were wide awake during all of that, getting yourself settled down for sleep. So as far as significance goes, I think we can just bracket that little interlude.

Last night I decided to try a minimum pressure of 5 and maximum pressure at 5.

Good news - CA was slightly lower.'

Bad news - OA and RE made a slight appearance which never happens. Hypopneas went up a bit. Overall AHI was higher. I also seemed to wake up more during the course of the night.

I felt somewhat rested, but not where I'd like to be. Should I try going back to a range of maybe 5-7 or 5-8? Or trying a fixed pressure at 6?

Do try min = max = 6. With luck that will help with obstruction without making CAs worse -- while avoiding potential disruptions due to pressure changes. And do what you can to sleep a longer period of time!

I'll be curious to see tonight's chart tomorrow.

Thank you! I’ll give 6 a shot tonight and let you know how it goes.

I’m considering turning back on EPR to reduce bloating, but I’ll make that change at another time.

I’ll work on getting more sleep too! Sometimes life gets in the way.

Last night didn't go well as I had one of the highest AHI's I've had since starting CPAP. It was crazy to see the AHI go over 50 early on, but oddly enough was relatively low after that. The centrals look super high as well. On the positive side, it was nice to have a 6 hour consistent sleep session without waking up in the middle of it as typically I wake up every few hours. I think tonight I will go back to a range of maybe 5-9 or 5-10 and see what happens.

Ugh! I'm out of ideas at this point and think you should get back in touch with your sleep doctor to report on your difficulties with central apnea. You might ask for an in-lab titration using PAP/bilevel/ASV settings to see what will actually work for you.

I was thinking the same.
