Straw cup

Post by Desert mans wife » Sun Jun 04, 2023 10:17 am

This is such a little thing that has been a tremendous help.
Sometimes I would wake up in the night with a dry mouth and have to remove my mask to take a drink. The idea came to me one day when I was sipping my drink through a straw at McDonald’s. Since I have a mask with the hose that comes out the front, and a quick release of the elbow (Airfit F30) why not have a cup with a lid and a straw by my bed at night? Game changer! The straw fits nicely into the mask opening when I pop the elbow off. Just have to make sure the straw is long enough. 😀

Clever, as usual.
Eventually, removal and replacement of the mask will become so easy,
no fancy drinking apparatus will be needed.
Especially the beer helmet--which is hard to sleep in.

You may also scratch your nose, if needed, while leaving the mask on.
