Curious letter from my friends at Philips

"We are reaching out to let you know that Philips Respironics will be remediating your device and needs assistance in acquiring your prescription settings." I'm sure others have received this too.

What's interesting is they aren't "remediating" my device. They offered me a lousy $25 bucks to send it in so they could get it out of circulation. I chose to keep it as backup in my California Wildfire "go bag" because it's better to have SOME device than none if we have to evacuate quickly.

When speaking of Philips in general, I think that's a more fitting comment.

I finally got my replacement from my sleep clinic last week. After 2 years... I was expecting a DS2 but they gave me a refurbished DS1.

Try not to expect too much from them.
Actually be grateful.
Many consider the DS2 to be no improvement whatsoever--even a step down.
