Lanky, there is a newer and much improved o2 ring. It is written up as being accurate enough to diagnose sleep apnea without a sleep study! Apparently Kaiser is now recommending it. This company that made the o2 ring, then sold it and produced the newer circle plus ring. They say it's increased accuracy has to do with more stability of the ring on the finger.
It would be helpful if you could check whether there is a way to sync this with Oscar software.

O2 monitor not o2 ring!
Re: O2 monitor not o2 ring!
I noticed today, that one of the NHS Hospital Trusts, here in the UK is using the Viatom "Check Me O2" Pulse Oximeter (Very similar to the O2 Ring, and uses same phone app) for initial home assessment

So if its good enough for them, it can't be too bad? I've been very happy with mine - although if I bought again, I might go for the convenience of use of the O2 Ring)
