Machine says 7 hours MyAir says less than 1?

Post by Trainer4346 » Tue May 09, 2023 5:25 am

I'm concerned I won't get credit for insurance purposes. Has anyone had it where MyAir doesn't match the device/reality? What did you do?

Does your machine display the correct time?

Are you sure that MyAir has been updated to the same day you are referring to? There is a delay, sometimes a long delay, between finishing your sleep and MyAir getting updated.

Which hours of the day do you sleep? MyAir starts a new day at noon.

Okay I answered my own question. But for anyone who searches on this someday, it's here for posterity. I unplugged the machine and then plugged it back in. Then in the myAir app, I logged off. When I logged back in it had reset and showed the correct information.

Thanks chicagogranny! Idk why I had that hiccup, it was fine until this morning. The device said 7 hours (yay) but the app said otherwise. I'm glad it reset!

No, in the time it rook for you to unplug the machine and logout the data updated.

This is what happens:
After a session ends, data is uploaded to ResMed's servers via cellular. The data is then processed and presented on the MyAir Webpage or App. This is not immediate, typically about 30 minutes to an hour. Sometimes there are reports of delays lasting from a few hours to a few days.

And if you turn off the machine at 2am for any reason, like to get up, then start it again, your sleep is split into two sessions. The session that ended at 2am will show in MyAir immediately when you wake up. The one that started at 2am and ended when you woke up will take a couple of hours to upload and display in MyAir.

MyAir has its uses--but consistency is not a priority.
