Really ? Shilling ?
So, let me get this straight. You think that anyone, who recommends anything that they find effective, are Shills ?
And that you have the personal right to call them out, without one shred of substantiating evidence, whatsoever ?
I think that your critical thinking skills are suspect.

Since I'm the only one in *this* thread that used the word "shill", I'll respond, even though you don't seem to have learned how to use the quote feature (it's really simple, just click the " button up there in the corner of the post, that way people will have a better chance of figuring out what you're gibbering nonsensically about.

When someone is paid to promote things, then yes:
Britannica Dictionary definition of SHILL. [no object] US, informal + disapproving. : to talk about or describe someone or something in a favorable way because you are being paid to do it
And Jason is paid (sponsored) by the company selling that product, as he says repeatedly.

I'd say that's more than "one shred of substantiating evidence", so feel free to STFU.

If you feel like "shill" is a dirty word, you are right.
Unfortunately, it is too often well-deserved.
Celebrities hawking reverse mortgages or Medicare advantage plans are an example.
You know these people have NO experience with the things they promote.

Someone said I was being "smeared" on this topic so thought I'd stop by. Don't really think it's a smear campaign, but there are some good things to comment on. The company pays me to advertise that they exist. They happened to have the VCOM. I let them know I really liked it and that they should start carrying it. I received a polite...."yeah, we already have it."

With the exception of 7 nights total since late November I have used it every single night. The last three I haven't because I don't want people pointing to it as causing inaccurate data for another video I'm preparing. It's fantastic in decreasing my chipmunk cheeks. Simply turning the pressure down never helped as I would still have RERAs. Decreasing flow on the inspiratory phase while keeping EPAP has worked wonders for me personally. It has on plenty others as well. It's also not worked on several people and that's okay. Isn't this about trying different things to get our own therapy "dialed in?"

Calling me a shill is quite inaccurate. It's a low blow comment. Healthy skepticism is great. Calling me a shill (something I take great pride in not being, by being transparent with things people have no business knowing) crosses the line for me.

I love cover roll stretch tape....the company doesn't even sell that. I BASHED the iBreeze that they gave me to review. I BASHED the SoClean repeatedly, they sell that too. The only reason I took a "sponsor" on is that they really love the honesty and just want people to know that they're there. This has been mentioned during the advertisements for them.

Shills typically pretend that they have no association. They also don't actually use the product. You know this and still make the accusation. That just makes you lose my respect. You may not even care.

All positive and negative comments about said product are welcome and they will live forever in the video comments section. Same with negative comments about the company that sponsors me. They actually use those to get better.

Some people are problem identifiers, and some are problem solvers.

I used your comments in videos because the criticisms were good and I want there to be an opposing viewpoint. The way you treat people online is abrasive. People come to this forum looking for help and are met with "eye roll" comments about how their OSCAR data isn't organized properly or how they don't know how to use the quote feature. People are in different phases to getting their CPAP treatment to work right and are tired and frustrated. Think about that and think about why you're really here.

TLDR: stop being a disingenuous dick.

Actually what new people are met with is a link to the wiki article on how to organize their OSCAR data.

or how they don't know how to use the quote feature.
And those are given a pointer to hit the " button at the top right of the post, so that we'll have some idea who they're responding to. eyerolls don't help either of those situations.

You, like everyone else, are welcome to your own opinion. Please check the Britannica Dictionary definition above. would you be more comfortable with 'paid promoter"?

I'm glad that your flow restricter is working for you. It doesn't work so well for others, and the thing that really irritates me is that the company you're getting sponsored by has a *no return policy* for the item, thus screwing anybody that wants to try it.

I notice that you didn't address that point, sir.

The "no return" policy is significant--people should know about it!
I guess the company likes to surprise people . . .
But not in a good way.

After 3 emails & 2 weeks of silence; I finally received a response. They said they would email me a return label. We will see; not sure why it wasn't included in this email???

I bought a Vcom last week. I used it one night about a minute. I was suffocating with it on. I tried to return it, but they only refund unopened and unused.
@djont57: was yours unopened and unused?
Were the suppliers different?
It would be good to know.
Kind of hard to judge effectiveness without using it.
Impossible to use without OPENING it.

I purchased directly from the SleepRes website; I told them I tried it & it wasn't working. They sent me a prepaid label to return the V-Com & indicated they would refund my CC after recieving.

Apparently Bluper bought his from somewhere else!
It would be nice to know who that was.

The logic that you use is odd.

Return policy: There really should be a return policy. The product is so new that may not be worked out yet between the companies. SleepRes does offer refunds.

Do you somehow think that I am privy to arrangements between other companies? They pay me to let people know they exist. Same way YouTube imbeds advertisements, those companies when viewers to know they exist...but I really have no control of that.

SleepRes (the makers) never paid me anything for advertising. Nobody asked me to do a video on it. That's not shilling.

You seem to have a lot of opinions on things. Problem identifier. Not a problem solver. You could buy up a bunch and offer the Netflix of VCOMs. (I don't mean this next sentence, but it's something you'd say) If you really wanted to help people you would do that.

In short, despite your condescending abrasive personality I thought you were an overall good guy. The reckless personal attacks and accusations aren't cool.

Too much time has been wasted at this point though. Take care.

Although actually, I've been more closely following the ladies since as long as I can remember.

Now there's a team, despite being decimated by injuries, have been playing out of their minds for 2 years!
