Mask recommendations for belly sleep

Post by kjphoto04 » Sun Mar 19, 2023 7:27 pm

Hi,
I'm still new to all this and am having trouble finding a mask that works well for my belly sleeping tendencies. I am using a Resmed air sense 10 machine and currently using a full face size small F&P Vitera mask.

Masks are very personal -- NO mask works for everyone under the same conditions (such as sleeping on your stomach).

If you have the funds, I recommend trying an online store. Many have a generous return policy and/or return insurance that allow you to try it and send back if it doesn’t work out.

If you can use a nasal mask, I like Bleeps (Both Eclipse and Dreamports). I sleep on my stomach more than half the time, my side the rest of the time. I’ve never had a problem with Bleeps.

CPAP treatment is a process. Good luck!!

You can look at variety on Cpap.com - and there are some that attach over your head, so the hose isn't stuck under you.

Before you chase many masks, make sure you are using the Falcon Position for belly-sleeping -----> http://www.uarsrelief.com/sleeppositions.html

I normally sleep similar to this but with the mask on I get air leaks.

Similar? Go exact Falcon.

Find your model mask on youtube and watch some videos on fitting and adjusting.
