SDHC card

Post by KrisCrossed » Fri Mar 10, 2023 6:13 pm

I just received a new Resmed Airsense 11. It was *supposed* to come with an SD card. All I have on hand are micro SDHC 32GB--will those work?

If you have an adapter like shown in the link below it should work fine. Otherwise SDHC cards are not all that expensive and can be found for less than $10. Sandisk is a good brand.

As mentioned it will work with an adapter.

If you got the cpap from a DME I would encourage you to also bug them for the card it sounds like was promised or you will likely have more trouble with them when ordering supplies in the future.

Curious which DME it is?

My AS11 didn't come with a card either, I just used the one from my AS10.

My AS 11 didn't come with a SD card .. It had a fancy cover insert ..
Which I think is the way all AS 11s are supplied ..
SD cards are fairly cheap, I bought 3 sandisk 32 gb cards ..
I think they were less then $15.00 ..

My Sleep Clinic moved my script to Lincare. Yes, they said it would come with an SD card but I only got the fancy cover as mentioned above.

Lincare is the absolutely worst business I have ever dealt with. They’re full of empty promises and I can’t ever reach someone at my local office. Don’t trust a thing they say, get everything in writing from them.

Get a 32G SD, make sure it’s got FAT 32 and you’re off to the races. The information out there saying you need to use the Resmed SD card is not true. I think it’s just another money grab by a medical device supplier/manufacturer designed to line their pockets. I’ve got a SanDisk card that works like a charm with OSCAR that I use in my Airsense 11.
