My DME assures me that Medicare will cover Bleep.
I just have to wait until they can get the Eclipse in.
Only DME who takes Medicaid around here has stopped responding to my calls asking them to see if Bleep is covered.

I have about 10 boxes of the Bleep that I no longer use, I will sell them to you for the cost of shipping. I am rather lazy and hated the time and effort to use the Bleep, so I switched back to my N20. If you want them just pm me.
Cheers
Nan
Thank you. That is very kind. Wouldn't I need some kind of gear?

Ask Bongo if they have trigeminal patients and see what they say.
Thanks. I will definitely do that before I buy anything.

I should clarify, the term the dentist used was neuralgia, but not trigeminal neuralgia. Neuralgia of unknown origin, I guess. I have just started seeing a chiropractor. I do have scoliosis and osteoporosis and my jaw wants to pull to one side. The chiropractor talked about various nerves from my neck and where they are on my face. I know I have problems with my neck and left side of my back being tight or cramped most of the time. I have neuralgia in my back, too. Years of physical therapy (exercise, dry needling, etc.) has not fixed this. I hope adding chiropractic adjustments to my routine helps. She said nothing can be done about the "structural problems" but hopes getting more movement helps. Meanwhile, I am soooo tired. And the slightest anything flares up the neuralgia. Even a chin strap. Even brushing my teeth too hard.

I have a friend whose husband uses something called Bongo for sleep apnea. I had never heard of it. I wonder if anyone knows anything about it.
I've been using Bongo for 6 weeks now. It seems to be working fairly well. I will get a real measurement in late May with an at-home sleep test from the doctor.
In the meantime I'm using a recording pulse oximeter now and then to try to measure. It looks like % of the night below 90% SpO2 has gone from 12 ( pre-Bongo) down to 6.
Have to keep your mouth closed. Have had to try different types of mouth taping along with Bongo and finally have the taping working well. Chin strap might work for some people, not for me.
Have moderate OSA, around 26 AHIs before Bongo.
Definitely not waking with headache and dry throat anymore, but afternoon sleepiness has not decreased much (yet).

To Onward60 - I want to strongly urge you to NOT get any info, let alone manipulations of your neck and head areas from a chiropractor - they're known (too often) for not understanding the serious arterial and neuro anatomy/physiology of the areas and have caused serious damage (strokes, etc) in people. If you want more info then talk to a neurologist or any 'real' doctor.

The forum software gremlins at work again.
Happens fairly frequently sometimes even to the forum veterans when they quote someone and seems to be especially frequent when newbies post as they haven't mastered using the quote button well.
I have even seen it happen to myself and things were so screwed up that I couldn't edit to fix it. Instead I would have to totally delete and then redo the whole damn response I made. While I don't always use the preview button I do usually try to wait and see my posted response to make sure the gremlins didn't come by to screw with it.

Never wrote that. Don't know anyone. I do play Bingo at Holy Angels on every 1st and 3rd Saturday.

Me too.... except that I've had the preview button save me from some bloopers, so I try to use it -- though you couldn't tell sometimes.

I'm sorry, ChicagoGranny. My mistake.
It looks like it was onward60 who wrote that post.
