Redness on face from mask

Post by arthuref » Mon Jan 30, 2023 2:36 pm

I solved my problem of strap marks on my face by using covers (from Pad A Cheek), but currently have an issue of redness on my face where my Mirage FX mask meets the skin.

Any suggestions on avoiding this redness? I have the straps as loose as possible without leaking.

How about a mask liner from Padacheek to act as a barrier between the silicone and your skin?

something that occurred to me but don't know if you'd want to try it.

have you considered a nasal pillow mask instead of a nasal mask? it would touch as much of your skin that way.

good luck!

but that's enough about them.

Thanks for the replies, I'll check out the mask liner, I wasn't aware of that.

Regarding nasal pillow mask, I used to use one, but it resulted in my mouth getting incredibly dry; I've had much better luck with full face mask.
