Does the entire length of hose need to be covered?
Does the entire length of hose need to be covered?
Airsense 10, heated hose. Airfit p10 nasal pillow mask.
Obstructed sleep apnea, so the holes at the nose are plugged with wax, and where the mask hose meets the hose from the machine, there is an air relief valve. The hose (from the machine, not the mask), is covered (except for about 6 inches).
Most of the time, drowning when I wake up. Climate control auto, or manual with humidity 1 or 2, it always happens.
Do I need to somehow cover the short mask hose (expect for relief valvue), turn off the heater hose (what setting is that), or what?
45 miles north of Boston. Put thermostat to 65 at night. Seperate room humidity gauge is still in the middle.
It would have been easier to have been able to attach an image of this, but attachments are not allowed here at this time.

If you can't do attachments then use imgur.com for sharing of images.
Looks like the forum storage for attachments is full....again.
Can't do attachments until someone removes the old attachments and makes room for new files.
Not a new problem....read this.

Ear wax? If so, you're using the mask wrong.

The OP seems to make one post about every three years and then disappear.

Which is fine if that is what he wants to do. How helpful the forum will be is another matter.

Adding to patent wars assassination, disappearance ordered by family/homosexuality, fratricide, suicide by drowning: disappearance into and out of cpaptalk.
The latter seems the most likely. It has happened to many others.

i'll answer that question, as no one else has.
yes, you need to cover the short hose. using a sock with the toe cut out works just fine.
