So this a favorited quote that DME's say. Just go ahead and do the update they will not know. Your insurance has already paid in full. Most are completly ignorant of how the machine even operates. Also if they have not updated the unit they are not doing you any favors. As to the sd card any one will work there is about 2 years worth of data storage on the machine even with no card installed.LadyRoci wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2023 7:59 amThank you. Unfortunatelly, I am not allowed to change the software of the machine since all the service is provided by my insurance company for free and they don't allow me to make changes to the software and most of the machine configuration. It doesn't have a sd card inside either.
I guess it's not the best machine in the market. I would try to rent a different brand and see how it goes and maybe I would just buy one that suit my needs.
thanks for this update. i was a little leery when folks started coming into the forum with this machine. now i can in more confidence warn them away from this machine.Lucky7 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 1:04 amHooray for the search engine!
I've looked at data from a family member's loaner machine, in their software AND OSCAR.
Machine is absolute garbage. Long runs of flagged Flow Limitations, and the pressure just sits there around 6'ish.
Also, no way the residual AHI is always less than 1. Like 0.2, 0.3, 0.0? Nope.

I used a diffrent sd card so I didn't lose my data doing the way the guide says to do it.
