I have worked with them for 2 years. I used to have a contact that made everything easy but that person left. A few months ago I was told by them that my doc ordered a new machine and that insurance said it was ok and good to send out. No more communication. I spent months calling them about it and I was given all kinds of excuses. Today I finally had someone say that I wasn't approved for the machine and did I want to buy it out of pocket. NO I don't want to! It took me months to get what I think is now the correct answer. I told them how frustrated I was with them, the answers I was given and lack of employee knowledge. All I got was sorry. UGH

They will bill for EVERYTHING and there's a good chance you will have to pay out of pocket for all the fluff. Witch hazel and some cosmetic wipes add up to about $4.

Fortunately they don't have a credit card on file for me, and I'm not paying for anything I didn't order.

Since these are all usual and customary supplies I'm willing to bet that the insurance company approved it all. Ironic, considering how difficult they can be on other items.

Not sure if Medicaid covers alcohol prep pads for diabetes patients but I would be surprised.

Bleep prep pads would fall into the same category imo, customary or not.
