I see there are quite a few videos on Youtube on Apnea, and wondering what the opinion of the videos by Lankylefty27 that members of this forum have?

Jason is repected, but no one agrees with everything he says 100 percent of the time, of course.

Jason has had a blind spot about Respironics machines (which I think he's gotten over), and about auto machines (which he might be getting better on, since he's using an Autoset himself now), but otherwise, he's pretty good.

And other than some really [conservative] opinions about some stuff....he isn't a bad guy as guy's go.
Lots of sleep techs have lots of varying opinions about a lot of stuff. While I don't agree with some of his opinions I do respect his right to have them and have them differ from mine.

I think he definitely has valid points. I think the main issue is that he thinks what works for him will work for everyone else. But yeah, all the comfort features, RAMP , EPR, etc are forbidden in his realm. Definitely has some useful info just like anyone, but not everything is going to work or agree with. Overall he's respected I think, (at least more than that SleepHQ guy).

If Jason's views have changed somewhat over time, I respect that. Hopefully "the SleepHQ guy" will similarly make progress as he goes.

Although I can't think of a specific instance, I assume I too have made statements on this board years ago that I might not agree with 100 percent today.

We learn. We grow. Or are supposed to. Even the mainstream researchers change nuances of consensus over time.

I'm not just here to influence; I am also here to be influenced. That means change. It would be a waste of energy to become too dogmatic on the location of any moving target.

And that's my nonlanky, nonlefthanded compliment for the day.

I sure hope Zonker can explain to me what I just said because I think I just confused myself again.
