Google should be your friend - I googled "How to make distilled water on a pellet stove" and got lots of answers. One is below, there's lots more. Really shouldn't be all that difficult, if you're handy with duct tape...

I have seen this method but usually with ice cubes on the lid to cause droplets to form. Ice would make it extremely messy on the metal stove and wood floors. I could revisit this again though without the ice to see how far I get with it.

I’ve seen stills set up with copper wire and repurposed pressure cookers. They blow out plenty of steam that again requires cooling the pipes.

TIDY was the key operational (typo) word. Bear in mind the other surface adjacent the stove top is the hopper that needs to be regularly refilled.

But thanks for reminding me of this method. I tried something similar in summer with metal bowl, plastic wrap and a nice sunny day that got me about 3tbs of water.
