You are wrong, Troll. It has made compliance reporting very easy for me and my DME.

MyAir runs off of Bluetooth/proximity, not cellular tower.
You are wrong again, Troll.

With such a comment, you are what? The height of classy sophistication?

Bye, Troll. For list for you.

ORLY? Then why do the machines have CELLULAR MODEMS in them??? Because they report back to the Resmed mother ship over cell modem, that's why the earlier Air 10 machines *no longer talk*, because CELL carriers turned off their 3G networks over the summer.

Noise sources that constantly have to be corrected aren't well thought of either.

I think of it more as the "Cranky Clubhouse."
Feel free to go elsewhere, I doubt anybody will miss you.

The original question was about AirView, but I have some comments on your reply.

For proof of compliance, it may be enough. That is what the original poster was trying to achieve.

Only on the Airsense 11. For Airsense 10 and Aircurve 10 machines, the myAir phone app will use the cell-to-cloud info stored at ResMed. Not having an Airsense 11 myself, I assume this would be similar to viewing the "More Info" myAir section of the Sleep Report screen on an AS10, only on your phone instead of the little screen.

Some people take "lmgtfy" as an insult. I see they've started calling this forum the "Zoo" but I think of it more as the "Cranky Clubhouse." The original poster has been in the club for ten years.
Thank you for the couteous explainer. (legit, no snark)

My sleep doc told me myair was not enough to prove compliance but that’s just me. I find the app pretty useless though. (not wholly, but as I said, “mostly” because the layperson can see hours of use without having to look at the screen.

I’ve never been a big fan of baseline snarkiness, no matter where it comes from.

Life is just too fucking short.

(thanks for the blast from the past… Im sooooooo confused!)

Sigh....I guess since AirView has been explained sufficiently that means all that is left is to call each other names and do the personal attack thing again.

So since there is no need to get back on topic I guess it's okay to call each other names....troll...bastard....whatever shitty, snide, snarky comment people can think up about someone.

Wrong.....think again folks........get back on topic or STFU. Thank you.

One more and the thread will be locked and that includes commenting about what I just said.
Don't say anything....nothing....unless it is about AirView.

.
Yes, myAir makes compliance reporting easy. Contrary to the standard shade that is thrown on myAir by forum regulars here, there is another use for myAir that is more important. At my regional DME which has three offices in the city and two in adjacent counties, the chief RT says compliance shot up when they started getting patients enrolled in myAir. People, even elderly people, like clicking the app on smartphones and getting some feedback. Experience has show it is motivating.
