Ewwww that was just weird. I didn’t really think that was nicko posting over here being so rude but now I am convinced.zonker wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 8:56 pmright there with you.lazarus wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 8:30 pmBecause we've definitely entered the twilight zone with Wanderlusty Uncle Nicko trying to get at CPAPtalk and Brother Palerider . . .

Not appropriate.
Just sayin'.
I will no longer be giving SleepHQ-associated matters any benefit of the doubt, myself.
Hey, just me.
but the question remains....what happens when sleephq users come here for advice on the charts generated by sleephq?
i'm assuming that the good folks here who can help out by divining charts (hat tip to jlfinkels!) will continue to help, no matter what the source of said charts?
hmmm?

One day you're gonna look back and think... Holy shit! I wasted half my life in a CPAP forum bitching like a little school girl about an Aussie Youtuber who has caused me no harm. I'm truly honoured that you're on here talking about me every day but come on guys, stop wasting your lives. It's pathetic. Here's a link to a forum you will all enjoy - spam
A day that will live in infamy.
Risking backlash after such a kumbaya day, it was a serious and legitimate wish list.
Speaking as someone who knows what's involved in your idea, the short answer is "no". The long answer is way more than I feel like trying to explain.lynninnj wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 9:01 pmRisking backlash after such a kumbaya day, it was a serious and legitimate wish list.
IMO that single feature is the biggest thing that sets the two apart (giving due to the superiority of the actual oscar software and graphs. )
I know you guys did a lot to get oscar up and running and don’t want you to pull a nicko over a constructive “ask”. I don’t know how hard it is to create such a feature, I admit.
I am just stating that it is the one improvement as far as board posting that would be the icing on the cake so to speak. If it would require web space to upload onto, perhaps a gofundme that the good folks of this board would be willing to donate to. I would.
Just a thought.
Thanks. I figured it was complicated and the idea of the software was likely never intended to be so complicated. To me, however, it is the main obstacle to using it to regularly post on the board.palerider wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 10:00 pmSpeaking as someone who knows what's involved in your idea, the short answer is "no". You make a very valid point! They could very easily have made it so that poster could not mention competitors, special offers from others, etc.ozij wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 10:10 pmWell said.
And let's also add a word of thanks to the honorable people who created this free forum, which is sponsored by www.cpap.com who sell cpap equipment to apnea sufferers and who let us discuss anything and everything including their competitors. No editorial meddling, no closing threads because they may have an impact of their revenue.
All of us who have been helped by advice on this forum also owe a debt of gratitude the people who made this free forum exist.
it's a known quirk in me. nine times out of ten if something is super popular culturally, i've never seen it or i hate it.
