A different machine won't have the same serial number as the one you discarded. Serial numbers are unique on every one.

Hopefully you're not trying to get a new machine from one you threw away.

Anyone posting on this forum who happens to have a PR machine(s) under recall has very likely registered their PR machines for replacement under the recall already.

And a given serial number cannot be used more than once for replacement under the recall.

So you are asking someone else to give up their chance of having the PR machine that they still own replaced under recall just so you can have the machine you already threw away before the recall replaced for free.

Product recalls don't work that way.

What are you talking about? I never received a replacement machine, I had to get a new and different machine which that one is on the recall and also my nose piece. Now, you understand the questions and you are not the one with the answer, don’t answer the question. And my new and different one wasn’t for free. I know how recalls way. again don’t answer the question if you are not the one with the answer.

I think people misunderstood my question, I don’t need to submit anything to Phillips for other recall machine. After use of that C-flex REMStar I contact asthma and thyroid problems. Now laugh at that! Again, if you are not the person to answer the question then don’t. Phillips is being suited.

What are you talking about? Your post is not at all clear.

Go to your notifications and answer my questions (They are actually statements.) in reply to the same comment you made in two other threads. See if you can clear up what the hell you are trying to do. You seem confused about what this forum is for.

I and my husband have been waiting for 16 months for PR to replace our three different PR machines under recall. I will be buying a replacement Resmed AirCurve on Dec. 8. I will continue to wait to see if any of the PR machines are ever replaced under recall. If they are, they will become back up machine and/or the primary machine for my husband who has not yet decided whether to just throw the towel in and get a new Resmed (OOP) or wait for PR to replace one of our three machines under the recall.

But here's the thing: We still own all three of these machines. And two of them are our primary machines right now.

On the other hand, you are trying desperately to get someone to give you a serial number for a PR M-series machine that you threw away so that you can attempt to get the machine you no longer own replaced under the recall. PR is under no obligation to replace a machine that you no longer own and, in fact, threw away before the recall was announced.

And on another thread you are asking a person who is still using an M-series to just give you his machine's serial number when he should be registering that machine for replacement at the PR patient portal site.

You say you threw your M-series away before the recall was even announced. And you say you got (bought) a replacement machine that you think may be under recall. Have you actually tried to determine whether the machine you bought after throwing the M-Series into the trash is under recall? If not, why not? If it is under recall, have you registered it at the PR patient portal site so that PR can (eventually) replace it under the recall? If not, why not?

The purpose of this forum is NOT to provide serial numbers of machines that have been discarded. Why do you think we would know the serial number of a machine you trashed some time ago?

From which supplier did you buy the machine?

M Series model machines aren't included in the recall anyway.
It's only the System One models (and later DreamStation) that are part of the recall.
System One models came AFTER the M series models.

Even if someone had a serial number for a M series model machine.....useless since the M series machines weren't recalled.

Please read Pugsy's post about M Series machines - viewtopic.php?p=1427882#p1427882

They are NOT recalled.

This question itself is not very clear because of fractured grammar.

This forum is designed to help people who are having trouble with xPAP therapy make xPAP therapy work better for them. Yes, we sometimes do talk about how to squeeze blood out of turnip---i.e. how to best navigate the PR recall process to get PR to replace PR machines that posters actually own and are under recall.

But that's not what you seem to be asking us. You are asking someone on the forum to give you a serial number of a machine they own (and potentially use) so that you can attempt to coerce PR into replacing an M-series machine that you admit you threw away before the recall was even announced. And product recalls just don't work that way: PR is not under any obligation to replace a machine you no longer own.

And here's the clarification we need from you:

Are you using a machine right now? If so, what make and model? If it is a PR machine that you bought to replace the M-series you threw away before the recall was announced, have you registered the new PR machine at the PR patient portal site so that it can be replaced under the recall?

And why do you think someone who still owns (and is possibly still using) an M-series machine should just give you their machine's serial number so you can attempt to get a free machine from PR to replace a machine you threw away before the recall was annonced? If someone still owns an M-series machine, they should be using their machine's serial number to make PR replace the machine they still own under the recall.

lol

This is funny to me in ways you couldn’t possibly understand.

You might want to try being less rude and condescending and you might get help with the question you didn’t know to ask.

To start with...Your question is stupid. Obviously you don't know what a serial number is...if you did, you would not have asked the question.
