I'm sick with a sore throat and find CPAP makes me wake up coughing because it further irritates my throat. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid this?
Thanks.
Using CPAP with a sore throat
Re: Using CPAP with a sore throat
When I have a sore throat the added humidity of the CPAP really helps.
If you have a heated hose, put in on a high temp
And raise the humidity if it's not on max.
Warmer air will contain more humidity without condensation in the hose.

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Up the humidity, drink lots of fluids, gargle with warm salt water and feel better soon.
