MyAir is great for trending mask-on time and AHI. Easy and convenient. I only check it every few months, myself. But my doc appreciated having my printout of myAir for putting in my file. It shows mask-on trending up and AHI trending down. All AHI below one, but still trending down comparing one year to 90 days to 30 days in the year report.

Detailed? No. But automatic, convenient, and valuable.

If I ever need detailed, well, there are apps for that.

Soon to stop using it tho, when I switch to the card-to-cloud machine that Zonker recently bought me.

And what will your doctor switch to?

She'll just have to take my word. Or maybe I'll start doing ResScan again or SleepHQ or OSCAR if I see any need. I am generally happy with seeing the info on my machine's screen each morning.

I only gave my doctor the my myAir yearly sleep report as a favor/courtesy. She never asked for it. She was happy to see it, though, and thanked me for it, and commended me on my results. When she heard my diagnostic PSG diagnostic AHI was over 114, she was especially impressed to see my home-machine report at below one.

She realizes I manage my own PAP care, and she's good with that. I am talking about my primary-care doc, not a sleep doc.

I believe that the AS11 is also Card to cloud...I have had several of them and none had any indication of modems.
Thats bonkers if true.... They don't come with any brochures mentioning myAir capability?

AirSense 11
AutoSet
CPAP
Elite

. . . Each machine includes access to myAir™, our easy-to-use online support program and app designed to help you get started and adjust to therapy. AirSense 11 users also get exclusive access to new myAir features like Personal Therapy Assistant and Care Check-In.

FAQ:
How do I connect the myAir app to my AirSense 11 machine?

Make sure that Bluetooth® is enabled on your smartphone and then log in to the myAir app and follow the prompts to connect to the AirSense 11 machine. If you don’t see the four-digit key on the AirSense 11 screen, go to the Home menu and tap +More, and then tap myAir.

I have seen at least 8 different AS11 machines. When you go into the settings where it should show the providor...it's blank. On the bottom there is a sticky patch over the area that would normally say 4G. The manuals may have been printed before the chip problem. There are no MyAir stickers on the machines. Lets find an AS11 user.......

I use the AS11 and it does have a modem that uses T-Mobile, type: LTE-M currently the signal -105dBm, although I always keep AIRPLANE MODE turned on at all times.

Give her a photo of your machine's screen?

Interesting. You'd think in airplane mode that it would not display the signal strength.

New AS11 machine...no modem. Notice the line through the signal strength.

Of course, there IS another point of view -- namely that MyAir is a useless feel-good app that lacks the detailed data need to understand and interpret the user's situation. If one is of that view, then the loss of MyAir is not a loss at all.
Useless and feel-good is an apt description.
Kind of unfair to fans of MyAir, even though their trust is misguided . . .
I used to find it useful if only to note when something obvious popped up to check oscar since I don't bother with it daily. However since I turned on airplane mode I just try to remember to check the screen in the morning.

In order to take that picture with my phone, I turned airplane mode off, then turned airplane mode back on after taking that picture.
