Mask Prices and any way to dodge them?
Mask Prices and any way to dodge them?
Last December I bought a replacement mask for myself and it cost about $15 from Amazon. Looking to replace my wife's mask today and Amazon (and seemingly everywhere) has it for $50+!!
WTF happened with mask prices and is there anywhere out there that has them for reasonable prices?
Airfit 20 full face masks, fyi

Ebay is your friend. I am constantly looking over there for someone looking to sell off my replacement cushions. You wouldnt find them for $15 but they have some up there priced in the $30-40 range. Sometimes you can find two of them priced for less as a set. ie I bought 3 for $21 for mine, which are usually $30-40 each. I buy them even if I don't need them YET. I only buy new in box/bag. I dont know what size you need but here is an example of 2 medium masks for sale with a make an offer option. https://www.ebay.com/itm/175430427638?m ... media=COPY Sometimes I will search on the particular part number (in example above it is the 63468, which differs slightly depending on the size you want.) I have also seen part numbers mislabeled so I always compare to the photos of the bags.Tyrlaan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 8:00 amLast December I bought a replacement mask for myself and it cost about $15 from Amazon. Also facebook marketplace can help you find the goods. I picked up a heated hose new for $20 and a guy selling off 10 filters for $7. Lowest price I saw on them were 2.50 each if you bought ten of them.

The prices have always been stupid.
Prices at both Brick & Mortar, and online DMEs have always been high, looks like the it's starting to filter down to the non-traditional/personal sellers.

I literally bought one for $15 on Amazon last December. That's very far from a stupid price imo.Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 4:56 pmThe prices have always been stupid.

Those are NOT complete masks...those are mask cushions. The OP seems to want a complete masklynninnj wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 8:24 amEbay is your friend. Ergo, I concluded they weren’t looking for the whole shebang.
Edit:I also suggested looking for the part on ebay and to keep checking there. New stuff pops up all the time. I posted about the P10 smalls-3 for $20 including shipping as I check ebay almost daily. I really hope that helps someone.
