I am going to delete all my data from SleepHQ and start again so I may have a dashboard link with a weeks worth of data...hopefully.

I am seeing that my SD card from the ResMed AirSense only has full data for a week, but does have usage data for a year. I guess it auto deletes full reports to not fill up the SD card.

Attempting to add data to SleepHQ has not gone well...failure to upload. Maybe a clean sweep then redo off my SD card will succeed.

I feel as I'm trying to launch the Space Shuttle from this laptop.

This should be a one night dashboard report from SleepHQ:

Well done.

Now one of the advantages of SleepHQ is it lets people on cpaptalk zoom in on the parts of the daily data that catch their eye.

On this night, what I immediately notice is that for the most part, you've got a pretty clean night. But what the heck was going on right around 5:00 AM? Here's a screenshot of what the data looks like when we zoom in:
Image

That's a lot of events in a very short time. And since you've capped max pressure = 10cm, the machine can't increase the pressure any more in response to that nasty cluster.

So questions that need to be asked:

1) Is this possibly a REM cycle? OSA is often more severe in REM and REM cycles are longer later in the night. Do you remember if your diagnostic sleep test showed your AHI was worse in REM than non REM?

2) Did you by chance flip onto your back around 5:00 am? OSA is often more severe when sleeping on the back. Do you remember is your diagnostic sleep test showed your AHI was worse on your back than in other positions?

3) Were you possibly awake during this time?

Now knowing that you're dealing with severe aerophagia and acid reflux, I'm reluctant to simply say just go back to max = 20. But you may in fact need a bit more maximum pressure if this kind of cluster starts to appear every night when you've got the pressure capped at 10cm. In other words, you may need to bump the max pressure up to 11. (Prior to lowering the pressures, your median pressure was 12-13cm, and that also indicates you may need a max pressure that is greater than 10 to prevent clusters of events.)

Next: Looking at the night as a whole, your median pressure is 6.46, and that may mean you ought to try bumping the minimum pressure up to 6cm---if that's comfortable for you to breathe at when you are going to sleep. That would mean the machine might have fewer flow limitations to deal with and it might help.

But finally, I'll also add this caution: Changing settings every single night in an effort to optimize them can be a no-win battle: We don't sleep exactly the same every single night, and that's why I'd actually suggest gathering at least 2 or 3 more nights data with the current settings. If you've got a nasty cluster every single day in the early AM hours, then you'll know you need to bump up the pressures by a bit. If you don't always have a nasty cluster, you'll need to work out for yourself how often the bad clusters happen and whether the nights where you've got a cluster of events negatively affect how you feel the next day.

In other words, fine tuning the pressure is a process: You make an adjustment and you gather at least 3 or 4 days of data at the new setting. You make another adjustment based on all the data at the new setting, not just one night. Unless, of course, some new setting winds up triggering a truly disastrous night of sleep that is highly unusual for you..

You already posted data from last night from SleepHQ. In other words, your SleepHQ upload went fine.

You need to use the date bar at the top of the Dashboard (above the summary data) to select different dates.

Do you need me to provide a screenshot from my own SleepHQ account?

The problem is, I downloaded the data but, the date bar will not show but one night. The previous night arrow buttons are gray, not working. I think there was a glitch as I loaded the required data in separate uploads so a deletion of all and redo may solve the problem.

My bar has light gray stuff too, but the buttons work. In particular, the button to bring up a calandar works.

Here's a screenshot of where to click to bring up a calandar:

Note: I have not uploaded data to SleepHQ since 9/19. That's why the date shows up the way it does.

Clicking on the grey arrow does not respond. Clicking on any other date on the calendar does not respond even though I uploaded data for those dates. I suspect there was an error in uploading. Data is there but not syncing with the dashboard.

anytime you have a page up you would have to create a new link if you want to send it over to this website.

If you’ve only just installed the SD card recently, then you won’t get the daily charts except for those days that you had the SD card in. it will also show the general data from days before that maybe even weeks or months before that. It just won’t show you an individual breakdown of what your breathing chart looks like.

I don’t think you’re launching the space shuttle.

in mind to the upper left-hand corner, possibly on the trend page there is a pulldown menu for whether you want to see trans for a week a month a year etc. Once you pull it down and select and when you want it will show you that much data and then you can create a new link for that page.

Hope that helps.

Please excuse my metaphorical nonsense... Space Shuttle. All day on three devices, trying to get images to CPAPtalk made me think of engineers at monitors during a space launch. I see how SleepHQ is a much better way to share data than an image file so it was worth it.

I have only a week or so of complete data on my SD although it has been in the CPAP for years. Evidently it purges data as time goes by.

I will return to SleepHQ in an attempt to get a more than one day report from data uploaded. I have not seen the option for day, week, etc. yet. That may be the trick to get the calendar etc. to function.

Thank you so much for your attention today and advice. Tomorrow will be interesting as to how my min and max reduction goes. I have been more alert today than usual, I am thinking I may have been making myself sick with min 10 max 20, for a very long time.

How big is the SD card? You prob have more data on there than you think. I sent a PM with some helpful tips.

You can get trend data on trend page by this year, this month, this week, etc using pull down menu upper left corner. You prob have more data on there than you realize. The trend data gives a lot of info when you hover over a day (pick a data field and hover and you will see the same sort of break downs as you see on full daily pages, minus the breath by breath zoom option.)

You can only post the down and dirty detailed data with zoom in on every breath page by linking one day at a time, which isn't hard to do.

I don't want to be redundant and hope you will read the PM and hopefully it helps.

PS Edit: I like the metaphor. :D

Here's a trend report from SleepHQ:

https://sleephq.com/public/c6662674-094 ... 34240e94ed
If you look closely by clicking on a single day/bar it gives a fair bit of info.

Pay special attention to screen on cpap machine when you insert the SD card. If it wasn’t properly inserted the data is much less.

I can get a trend report and a bit of data from the 32GB SD card but detailed daily reports are only present for the last week or so. Why, I don't know. I load it correctly. When I view the folders created from anything past a week or so, Windows tells me they are empty.

I don’t know how the 10 works but the 11 is tricky. I have inserted card, very sure it is seated correctly and found out later it wasn’t and had no data. It could be a case of not being seated for years. It will give basic historic trends but not every breath zoom. Kinda like pulling something off the hard drive of the machine.

Mine is tricky in that it takes some time for it to read and even longer to give an error message. I usually turn it so I can see the flashing blue lights.

I may be able to get the old Zantac by prescription by a willing doctor though.
Where would you get it filled?
I do not know where. I am only going by a recently read article about Rentindol (old Zantac) that claimed it may still be available by prescription. It works for me, 5 other acid reducers I've tried, since Rentindol was made unavailable over the counter, do not. I have yet to ask a doctor for a prescription for Rentindol, it may be futile to do so.
The only guy I know who has ranitidine is Walter White so GFL on that.
