Now on to why MyAir reports fail to keep accurate usage times.
I don't believe MyAir should be used for anything other than a quick overview. It doesn't give much more information than is readily available on the screen of your machine, and some of the weightings in the score are seriously skewed.

If you really want to know in detail what's happening, you should use either:

- OSCAR https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/
- SleepHQ https://sleephq.com

Oscar gives more detail but SleepHQ is easier to use. Both are in another league compared to MyAir.
* Download Oscar
* Oscar help
* An alternative to Oscar - try SleepHQ

I have no medical training or qualifications. Take my advice for what it's worth.

Thanks again.

MyAir is compiled by the cell telephone system. The SD slot on my Resmed Cpap is empty. I guess the Sleepfiles download will be a way to format an SD card for a ResMed, put that card in the Resmed, and let it gather data. Then, move the card to a computer for a report with the Sleepfiles software.

When I first started out with CPAP, that's how I got reports (SD and software)...I just remembered that. It was a long time ago when there was no MyAir. I did it just for personal info as I have used MyAir.

Whole thing is, for the first time in 10 years my doctor who writes the prescription for my CPAP, wants a CPAP report. They thought it would be available from my CPAP store, nope. I have a choice to make one or not through MyAir. I am betting Medicare Insurance has something to do with this. Medicare is wanting proof of the use and effectiveness of CPAP's. I'm sure the $ they shell out for testing and treatment has gone super high.

It is amazing how little our local doctors know about sleep apnea and do nothing to help a patient get the best gear and settings for treatment. There are no local sources for anything apnea related so I rely upon the net for ordering and information. Thank you.

Let's make this simple. If you log into your myAir account on a PC, you can easily download a usage report for printing. This is all insurance companies require in terms of a report. Some insurance companies also want a statement from the doctor that you are benefitting from your use of CPAP.

There is a Download Report icon on the right side of the screen.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I can produce a printed report from MyAir.
