Not really, it doesn't exhibit the classic waxing and waning of CSR.

plus it's intermittent.

Still looks a bit scary to me. A central every 45 sec or so.

Scarier than you might imagine lol! This was during a heart attack. It took me a week before getting it checked out and having a stent put in to open up the circumflex back up from a 100% blockage.

Holy Schmoly!

Ever since the cardiologist told me that most heart attacks happen in the early morning hours, that was when I really pressed to get a sleep study.

All I can say is wow!

And for our next episode….Captain Obvious will once again show his wicked superiority complex to the class….

as opposed to sharing actual knowledge in a way that doesn’t reek snark and rudeness.

But yeah, we know you have a lot to offer but you prefer to take out your life frustration on strangers on a message board.

So you do you….

Only when they post stupid crap.

Like your "well, I don't care about facts, it looks scary to me".

A reader following along will read my post and after learning some on the board will say, she's right! That doesn't look good at all! The careful and honest reader will see that the very next post, which you chose not to quote because you are so desperate for snark, had the OP saying how he was having a heart attack at the time. My concern might make them look and remember if they see the same pattern on their own sleep chart. Maybe it will prompt someone to go to the ER and get an EKG and get their troponin checked. Maybe they won't wait a week like the OP.

They will NOT be looking at MY post and say, "she is posting stupid crap" or "she doesn't care about facts". No, rather, they will see a valuable contribution to the board.

Then, they will look at you and your pattern of having about one out of every ten posts being substantive and informative. They will look at your snark in the other nine. They will look at your lack of contribution and posts without value. They will see your dishonesty, skipping over the OP saying he had a heart attack at the time, just so you can try to throw shade on me. And they will likely say, what a sad, pathetic man he must be to come onto a message board just to try to shit on other posters (very clumsily and unsuccessfully as you can see here in this example.) They will say, after your posts-what a hostile place this is. So unhelpful and unwelcoming. How sad that this man is that he was raised without kindness or manners or other interpersonal skills.

So move on, unhelpful troll.
Skip my posts.
Maybe consider finding a hobby or something to give you joy. Maybe a punching bag who unlike me will let you take your shots.

Your words and dishonesty say FAR FAR MORE about YOU than they do about ME and what you percieve as a "stupid statement" by someone that comes here to learn.

I would love to see a show of hands.

How many of you here:

Lost a parent or loved one who "died in their sleep"? -raises hand, then raises another hand for having just lost a second parent to a morning heart attack very recently-
Came here to learn how to manage their OSA? -raises hand-
Have a good life with family and friends and someone at home and don't want to leave them alone by dying prematurely or not doing something preventable like CPAP? -raises hand-
Have a heart disease that increases your risk of heart attack or stroke? -raises hand-
Have an additional blood disorder that also increases their risk of stroke or heart attack? (I'm talking to you polycythemia patients-I am in that boat with you.) -raises hand-

Now, how many of you came here to get a daily heaping dose of derision from some random internet jerk for trying to improve your quality of life and longevity?

Yeah.....I didn't think so.

welp, i guess i don't fit anywhere on that list. i came in here in the early days to get help. didn't matter to me the source. that included palerider. and still includes palerider.

if you have a problem with him, may i suggest the foe button?
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

Does that allow for completely ignoring someone? Then maybe. Or maybe he can ignore my "stupid posts"?

I have stated repeatedly that I appreciate the one in ten posts of value by him, that I know he has a lot to offer.

Is it wrong to expect people not to go out of their way to cast shade on you like he clearly did in the post above?

And you ARE on the list btw. Came here to learn how to manage their OSA? -raises hand-

Thats what I came here for too, and I appreciate the comments meant to help and encourage rather than dishonesty and insults. But hey, that's just me.

There's nothing "dishonest" about not responding to every single post that someone *ELSE* made.

You are *ASSuming* that the centrals had anything at all to do with the OPs alleging that the breathing coincided with his coronary blockage.

He very likely had the blockage the entire night, you'll also notice that the centrals were only for about 15 minutes, so whatever coronary blockage he had didn't last for just 15 minutes.

Maybe it will prompt someone to go to the ER and get an EKG and get their troponin checked. Maybe they won't wait a week like the OP.
And there's where your posts are dangerous, because there is *ZERO* actual evidence that the 15 minute breathing pattern has anything to do with coronary issues, yet you're encouraging people who're looking at an Oscar printout to subject themselves to ER charges, and further add to the overload that Emergency Departments are already suffering through.

Now, if Rubicon comes in and tells me that "oh yeah, that breathing pattern looks like cardiac issues", then I'll listen. Hell, if YOU can find any studies or papers that refer to a correlation between central apneas and coronary occlusion, then I'll apologize to you.

But your "oh, that looks scary", no respect for your knowledgeless comment.

The OP came here, apparently asking a question, that question was answered, and then YOU had to pop in with something completely unhelpful.

PS, there's lots of results about Obstructive apnea and coronary events.

You forgot your apparent purpose....

Came here to post about things you have no knowledge about.

I'd love to just ignore you, but so far you've not come across as a benign noise source, because I came here to help other people and keep them from being misled by people posting crap that they don't understand.

Is it possible you can post substantive replies like the ones above in the future without the snark and attack style posting?

I can’t tell if that’s part of your skillset or not.

PR said: Now, if Rubicon comes in and tells me that "oh yeah, that breathing pattern looks like cardiac issues", then I'll listen.

So-you didn’t know and went after me anyway?

I think if someone is concerned they may have had a heart attack they should be going to the ER whether you feel like you’re paying for it or not.

But yeah, the woman with newbie in her signature is so dangerous!
