It is one thing after the another. So I am sleeping normally finally getting used to the mask, and humidity level of 7 out of 8. Around 3 hours into my sleep there is a noise emanating from i believe my hose that sounds like I am playing a didjeridu .
Everytime I breathe in or out there is this melodic noise. It is annoying and wont let me sleep so I take off the mask and turn off the machine.

I wake up thinking that it is probably the condensation in the tube, along with air flow making the noise so I straighten the tube and raise but to my surprise only couple drops of water leak out. What do you think was causing this noise and how do I stop it.

My first suspect would be the water in the mask or hose. I know you are seeing just a few drops but I have been there and done that and sometimes a half a teaspoon of water will make a horrible racket. With your humidity setting you are a prime candidate for some condensation happening.

If you are using a heated hose...increase the hose air temp.
If you aren't using a heated hose...get one.
Or add some sort of hose cozy to the mask hose (if you have one) and/or the long hose.

thanks, will try raising the tube temp from 81. I do sleep really cold, and i know cold rooms make condensation worse. i will try to see if lowering humidity from 7 to 6 will help too.

having been through this myself, i recommend one change at a time.

btw, not didgeridoo music for me, but a light whistling sound.

Yep, when I was a newbie, I cranked the humidity up high. I figured if a little humidity is good, a lot would be great. That's rarely the case. Within a few months, I figured out the humidifier was not even necessary for me. Not even in the cold, dry months. YMMV.
