Still begs the question of what makes it so special?
Pugsy once posted links showing that the masks have different replacement schedules depending on where in the world they are sold.
The "replacement schedule" here in the US is purely a fabrication of greedy DME companies that have figured out that if they tell you to throw away your stuff as frequently as they can bill Medicare (an many insurance companies follow Medicares minimum replacement intervals),
THEY'LL MAKE MORE MONEY.
I replace my mask pillow and headgear when they are truly worn out rather than on the DME's schedule. My father has a Medicare Advantage plan and he said he gets a new nasal cushion every two weeks. There is not a chance it is worn out in two weeks. The DME is the one taking advantage of him.

I have an AS10 and want to get the washable tub. The standard tub starts to get pretty nasty inside over time even though I use RO water exclusively. I quit buying distilled water when I did some research and found that I could use RO water instead.

Air 11 users can also use the
Test Drive feature to dry their gear.
What is this
TEST DRIVE feature that you referred to on the Air 11?
I do not recall seeing this feature on my Air 11 machine.
Test Drive is a feature only available on Air 11s, where you can turn the blower on or off and set the pressure from your bluetooth connected phone.

I wondered that myself.
I only use distilled and I wipe the water out every morning and let it air dry. Knock on wood I’ve never had any problems and it doesn’t feel slimy or weird.
Maybe it’s the part about not using distilled water?

I found it in the MyAir app. You have to have airplane mode on your machine turned off, (blue tooth is on) and you have to set up the MyAir app.
When the MyAir app asks for the 4 digit code, click the Myair link on your cpap machine.
You will then find Test Drive under the coaching tab, then look under the library tab.
Still curious about RO water

I'd do the 'let me google that for you', but I don't have the energy.

And yet somehow, snark time is fully abundant.
It’s a pity because you have so many valuable things to offer that get lost in a pool of cutting sarcasm.
Buried somewhere in there is a compliment.

Every now and then the bottom of the barrel needs scraping.
