The OP just spent $800 (Canadian dollars, I assume) which is pretty close to USD$849 price for a Resmed AirSense 10 AutoSet at secondwincpap.com Maybe they will let you return your machine and get the AS10 AutoSet. Never hurts to ask.
ok color me confused. isn’t the resmed airsense 10 autoset the same as an AS10 autoset?
if not I apologize for using incorrect terminology in the past.
If This is just a slip up I am not picking on you I am just confused.
If in fact that website has excellent customer service it may be worth a phone call to find out if the unit itself allows for SD card use, or if it’s possible that the SD card was simply not inserted correctly.
I just had a problem with my SD card not picking up the data on my machine. Pugsy told me to turn the machine Off and then back on after inserting the SD card. It’s only been one day of doing this but it worked. I don’t know why I’m just happy to have my data.
I hope this helps.

Well, I got my ResMed S9 Escape-Auto & guess what?
Operational word: Escape = limited data.
Second operational word: S9 = no longer sold as new.
He got a refurbished one.

The OP doesn't have the AirSense 10 AutoSet....he has the S9 Escape Auto now. I got the impression he wanted to stay with the S9 model because he already had the humidifier for the S9 since his original machine was the S9 Escape.
Secondwindcpap.com might allow him to return the S9 Escape Auto and get either the S9 AutoSet (which would work with his existing humidifier) or upgrade to the AirSense 10 AutoSet if they have one but obviously more money.
800 Canadian dollars is equal to a little over 600 US dollars.
Secondwind is showing the S9 Escape Auto without humidifier for 459 US dollars.
So I am a bit confused about stated dollar amounts unless shipping to Canada was a lot more than I think it should/would be.
He could have bought the S9 Elite without humidifier for 439 US dollars and it is a full data machine or the S9 AutoSet without humidifier is 519 US dollars.
I would call them up and ask if they will swap....if you don't ask the answer is always no.
I have heard of them swapping with other customers though....so they used to do it. That was pre Covid though and they may have changed their policy.

Sorry that my prior post was unclear. Here is what I said

On re-reading this, I can see how my working was unclear. What I meant to say was that OP spent CAN$800 (USD$600) for the refurb S9 when he could have had an AS10 for just USD$249 more. Too bad the seller did not point this out when OP was ordering.
Apologies for being unclear.

First off I'd like to thank you all for your input on this. I did get a call from SecondWindCpap.com & they are extremely good people. They are allowing me to exchange the S9 Escape-Auto for the S9 Autostet. You are indeed (in my opinion) great people as well as kind & helpful.
I wish you all the very best in all your future endeavors.
