Hey, I just did that in March. I wore my CPAP for four straight days and really never want to see a hospital room again. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Remember the key is to walk as soon and as much as possible.

I get the repair job a week from today, and PT comes to my room the next morning.
Doc says one or 2 nights.
I spoke to my endocrinologist about insulin dosage, and he supports my intent
to use my own insulin and supplies in the hospital.
I can't help it if I am a stubborn old frog. But I will be as sweet as I need to.
I like my tiny needles best--no pain.

Yesterday I was given a copy of the Power Point presentation
that constitutes the "information class".
Contrary to what I have read online, recliners are forbidden.
I bet the bullfrog a juicy cricket that my hospital room has a recliner.

Tomorrow is the day!
Gotta get to bed early, alarm is set for 4--arrive by 5:30, cutting scheduled for 7:30.
I expect to be offline all morning, maybe longer.
See ya later, guys!

Well, it's done.
I'm already walking, but with a 2-wheel walker.
Already no nerve pain in my legs, so I think it worked.
I still feel like a spatchcocked chicken--they split me open good.

Wishing you consistent progress, with less and less pain!
Though they do say the progress is spiral - so don't let setbacks discourage you. It's the trend that important!
