Missing critical thing…….some way to change the 12 volt from the battery to 24 volt that your machine MUST have to work at all.

Ok- so the fancy 12v-12v converter thingy they haven’t invented yet.

Grrrr

thanks

FYI there is no adapter yet for AS 11. I know I wont get far but this is all I have right now and my biggest concern is NOT damaging my device.
This is exactly why I've been recommending people with an AS10 and wanting something newer stick with a new AS10 instead of buying an AS11 just cuz its newer. Not only is the DC cable available but it will give them spare parts for the times ahead.

For the AS11 right now the only thing I can think of if one doesn't have an RV is to get an inverter to use in their car and sleep there - better than nothing - no sleep at all.

Or get a 100AH battery from Walmart or where ever and also getting an inverter to use on that and then you will also need a way to charge it. IF the power is out consider charging it using a running car or bringing it somewhere there is power.

Doesn't sound like there is a cheap option if you have an AS11.

You can buy a battery that you plug into the wall outlet, then plug your machine into the battery. No DC to AC converter needed.
Your electricity keeps the battery charged up, if power goes out, then the battery keeps your machine running.
I use the PO160UPS for my AS11

hmmm

pricy but does what I would need it to do.

maybe i will call resmed again this week so they know peeps really want that inverter. it will be expensive also but will allow more flexibility down the road

thanks for putting this on my radar

Absent a whole house backup generator, which I have, I would opt for a small inverter generator, such as a Honda 1,000 watt unit. It provides a clean AC power source that is safe for sensitive electronics, etc.

Just because it's built in to your grossly overpriced POS doesn't mean there's not one in there.

it's ONLY $400 bucks, even though you can buy other lithium batteries for less money that have more capacity.

that inverter.
it's not an "inverter".

So it’s my understanding I need an adapter for my resmed as 11 that has not been invented yet as I understand. This changes dc-dc as I understand. NOT dc to ac.

Am I pretty much at the mercy of resmed at this point?

Is the proper term for what I ultimately need a CONverter or an INverter?(adapter by RM)

If I have said adapter can I then pretty much use my machine SAFELY without risk of damaging it with pretty much most of the portable power thingies over say 5-10ah? (bearing in mind I realize that is a minimum and based on settings but is a ballpark?)

FWIW.... when I clicked the link in a previous post 'electricgeneratorsdirect'......
Might be a false hit, but not going to chance it.

DC to DC converter......... can either step up the voltage or step down

I did not get that message but thank you for the warning.

I don’t want gasoline generator so I didn’t look very closely at it. I want renewable.

It’s a bright sunny day after some terrible rain storms last night. I could easily recharge a battery if I had one and some solar power.
