Phillips Resperonics System One ASV machine SD card

Post by Lancaster » Wed Jul 27, 2022 8:12 am

How will I know when to change the SD memory card in my ASV machine? I have used it for 7 years with the original 2GB memory card.
I am wondering how much room is left on the card.
It does not have wi fi so the only way my MD knows I am using my ASV is downloading the data. I do not have a lap top to download the data myself.
Here is a link of what the card looks like:https://www.thecpapshop.com/respironics-sd-data-card
Does the machine tell me the data card is full somehow? How will I know if I change the card that it is actually recording the data?
Thanks!

Does the SD card record over itself?

Do you know how to check for remaining capacity of your SD card?

After a period of time the machine will start overwriting the oldest files with the most recent files.

Thank you for your reply.
No, I don't know how to check. I only have a chromebook which you can't install software on. I don't know how to check it.
That is good if it overwrites the card as long as it doesn't get corrupted.
I could buy a new one it looks like on that website.
I just don't want to show up at my next MD appt with a card that was full a while back since it is my Medicare appt and I need to prove I am using it.

No worries--the FIFO rule is followed--first in, first out.
The oldest stuff goes away first.
I copy the info shown on the sleep report screen into a notebook.
I have notebooks going back 12 years.
Low tech, but always available.
Of course, I only have Resmeds--no idea what phillips shows you.

if you want to go to all of the bother, get a usb to sd card reader. then you can read the amount left on your card. no software necessary. just read it in chrome to see what space is left.

good luck!
