Oscar

Apologies. I've not used Oscar /Sleepyhead in ages. I have reason to need a quick look now and instead of just being able to import from sd card it is asking me to select the root folder. What does this mean?

Select the drive letter for your SD card, eg E:\ or F:\. Once you've done that Oscar should remember for the next time you use it.
* Download Oscar
* Oscar help
* An alternative to Oscar - try SleepHQ

Yes thanks. Tried that and it keeps asking for it. Won't seem to accept it. My brother recently diagnosed downloaded Oscar yesterday and having exactly same issue. Never had a problem before

Assuming your computer is showing you the drive for the SD card, just click on OK - the root directory is the default option if your SD is being read, which is why a click on OK should suffice.
If that doesn't work, post an image of what you see, and what you're trying to click on.

Are you using the latest version of OSCAR? That's 1.4.0.

Are you importing data from a Dreamstation or Dreamstation 2? You need OSCAR 1.4.0 for a DreamStation 2.

If OP uses Windows, I suggest opening File Explorer to confirm for sure which drive letter is the SD card. This is not always as clear as one may assume. In my case, the hard drive is subdivided into a regular portion (C:\) and a recovery portion (D:\), then there is the CD drive (E:\) and the computer backup SD card (F:\) and then finally the ResMed SD card (G:\). If I happen to have the computer backup SD card removed from the system, then the Resmed SD card becomes F:\.

All of which is a long way of saying best practice is to confirm for sure which drive letter is your CPAP SD card.
