I am very satisfied with the minimum setting of 10. I can fall asleep easily at that pressure, and my overall average pressure is around 11-12 and seldom goes above 16. I have increased my use, so that I am often getting 6-8 hours of sleep per night using my CPAP machine. My average AHI on CPAP is 3.49 though it does vary on some nights. :)

Personally, I would set the max pressure to 20 cmh2o. your machine will only go that high, IF, and WHEN, you need it.
If your machine is an AUTOSET machine, and if the max pressure is not set to 20 cmh2o, and you need the higher pressure, your machine cannot help you because it cannot go any higher than what you have set the max pressure set at.
