Sleep data from an AirMini

Post by navbill » Fri Jul 15, 2022 4:58 pm

I know someone who needs to extract their sleep data from their AirMini in a printable form. They can't just
take a screen shot and show their doctor. This is important for them to keep their truck driving license.

AirView is not working so what are the alternatives. AirMini does not have an SD card.

Is it possible at all to download and view his sleep data?

I don't believe there is any way for the user to extract data from the AirMini, but I did find this on the Resmed website:

How do I obtain a compliance report for my therapy using AirMini™?

Please contact your home medical equipment or healthcare provider to discuss your options for compliance reporting.

With the AirMini, your only options are the ResMed provided solutions:

Has your friend tried the AirMini mobile App?

Not much diagnostic information, but compliance information is there. If it's like MyAir it only starts tracking compliance since signing up.

Sorry, my link above was broken. Fixed now.

AirView is ResMed's software that allows DME's and sleep specialists to access and confirm patient data. Based on earlier threads, some DME's say they can't or won't do it so you may have to push the issue.

Nonetheless, ResMed say that the software is compatible with the AirMini. OP would still need the AirMini phone app to make sure that the AirMini is sending data to the cloud (I believe the setting is initially off by default).

Where are you getting this information from?

Is this what you friends doctor told him, and then told you? Does not sound very credible.

Are you personally trying to log into ResMed AirView? AirView is only for medical providers that have been authorized by ResMed.

If you’re a DME as implied by Pugsy in the Evora thread and your other posts, you would be better served by contacting ResMed directly.

We are mostly regular CPAP end users with no access to the DME end of the reporting systems.

Sorry to re-open the thread. I'm having compliance verification issues among me, my DME provider, and my insurance company.

What would my DME provider need to see in order to get my AirMini data within AirView? My DME provider has a physical location nearby. If I bring in the AirMini, is it as simple as the DME provider taking the serial number and adding the AirMini to my profile?

My AirMini is linked to the iOS app and the app setting to push data to the cloud is active.

A few weeks ago, I needed compliance data from the AirMini and had been “uploading to the cloud” in the AirMini app. I reached out to the DME that I purchased the AirMini from (in my case Apria - on an open box sale) and they were able to provide me with a full 30 day compliance report with all of the typical metrics (AHI, leak, usage time, etc). I just provided them with the serial number and they were able to produce the report.

Hope this helps
