No, that wasn't the one that was on the tip of my tongue. German name I think..or sounds German.
And it was a two part name. It will come to me eventually.
Though narcissism works too.

It is also a well known fact that Philips makes the worst fans in the world. There's no dispute about that.
Actually the Maple Leafs are the worst fans! Really! Look it up!
I don't need to look it up.

As a blue-blooded Maple Leaf fan, I can say it is 100% true.

No....it's a two part name which came from a couple of guys/doctors, I think it was, that recognized that particular personality disorder. Odd spelling which means I can't search for it since I can't remember enough of the correct spelling.

it's a two part name
Dunning-Kruger effect:

is a cognitive bias[2] whereby people with low ability, expertise, or experience regarding a certain type of a task or area of knowledge tend to overestimate their ability or knowledge. Some researchers also include in their definition the opposite effect for high performers: their tendency to underestimate their skills.

Bingo....I knew it started with a D and was hyphenated and that was all I could remember.

Thank you.

Now there was another that I used in conjunction with that term for people who thought real highly of themselves and wanted to talk about it. Though I don't think the OP here necessarily qualifies except for the rambling part.

I do not think that is right. :? I may be wrong, but I know I'm right. Because I am the foremost authority on ALL things comet. Probably know more than anyone ever...about comets. And lots of other stuff too. :D

That the Alan-Thomas comet, for sure.

I think you're thinking of the Higgs-Boson Comet, discovered by Bobby Joe Higgs and Ernie Boson.

Hopefully, you guys are done taking potshots at each other. (derailing Initiated by Palerider and janknitz, " they already know everything" and "those machines are crap")

The question that the OP posed was:
I am not quite sure how to scientifically test my seemingly "cured" CSA, other than starting sleep without the machine and see how it goes...then how I'll I measure it?
Any thoughts from the experts and experienced?

I think you have those two confused with the ones who discovered the Palerider-Janknitz comet.
