Did you consider that I might have received the machine today?? And that I started the thread expecting it to arrive soon? What is wrong with you buddy? I'm just asking for assistance, which is one of the reasons that forums exist, right? And you've been nothing but incredibly rudeDog Slobber wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 9:21 pmHe's posting under the name Arash Kamangir.
He's the guy who knows nothing about electronics, but is concerned about the cellular signal radiation. He's also the guy who is claiming that he's got his machine opened up, but in this topic, makes the claim he's still expecting the machine to arrive.

You're not doing a very good job
This topic suggests otherwise.

HAHA you just can't stop can you? How many rude and inaccurate posts is that from you in this thread? 7? 8? I've lost count.. it's becoming quite entertaining. But seriously though, don't you have anything better to do?Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 9:51 pmYou're not doing a very good job

I'm chatting with this Aussie, Nick, who has the youtube channel "CPAP reviews". You can see our conversation in this link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1C7pxg3PM8
He says he's going to do a tutorial video in the coming weeks on how to modify the PCB to disconnect the cellular modem and antenna. You can see our discussion in the comments section. I have the device opened up as he showed in the video but have no electronics knowledge. Would appreciate some help from anyone that can assist. And btw, yes I'm hearing what you're saying about this not being a good idea, but if there is a reversible fix that I can try, can always go back to the factory default.
Thanks all

That has nothing to do with the fact that your idea that "the machine tailors it's settings" is completely incorrect. They simply don't work that way. The machines act as they've been programmed, they don't 'adapt' or 'tailor' their behavior.

I don't need any lessons from you in logic or language, thank you. And, btw, go back and read my first post where I asked a question very humbly and your answer to it. Please try to learn some manners.
I didn't "imply" anything, I made a simple statement of fact.

Enough children. Play nice or go stand in the corner for a couple of days.
Comments about comments or how someone says something or what they say ....when all it does is keep the infighting up just annoys the hell out of me.
Everybody just has to get the last word in....but in this case I get the last word.
The LAST word is this....there is no easy way to screw around with the modem in the AirSense 11 and no one has done a video yet.
If someone opens up the machine and screws around with something...congratulations you just voided your warranty.
Better pray nothing happens to the machine that would fall under the warranty for repairs.
Auto mode with the factory default settings may or may not (probably not) be suitable settings for someone.
The machine doesn't LEARN a damn thing about anything...it doesn't remember anything....it starts a brand new day every time you turn it on.
Using airplane mode doesn't keep someone from using the machine at all. Yes, the machine will ask you if you "want to continue in airplane mode" but all you have to do is say "yes" and the machine still works. Now it may ask that question often but it doesn't stop the machine from working. Annoying but airplane mode doesn't mean the machine won't do its job.
Now....all the questions have been answered clearly there is no need for further discussion unless someone wants to address the original topic.
No more comments about comments. Get back on topic or risk posts being removed as being Off Topic.
And quit with the not so snide banter....it's not helping anyone and it's giving me a headache.

Thank you sir. Appreciate the thoughtful words.
I will try what you suggest, but if anyone has a (preferably easily reversible) solution anytime in the near future, I would appreciate it greatly.

I'm not sure if the 11 works different but the Aircurve 10 asks you each morning. From reading peoples posts I thought it would be a pain but it really isn't. It defaults to no and you just click right through it. Better than trying to figure out how to disable the modem IMO.From what I have read, airplane mode won't work as the machine continuously asks whether you are still on an airplane and need it in that mode.

Re: Disabling cellular signal on Resmed Airsense 11
I don't even bother clicking through it. I don't check my stats most days because it's pretty stable. I just let it turn itself off. No need to keep saying "no" to turning off airplane mode. Mine has been in airplane mode since I got it, since I had to buy it outright and had no compliance requirement.babydinosnoreless wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 9:46 amI'm not sure if the 11 works different but the Aircurve 10 asks you each morning. Thank you, I might try that, but I have one other idea I'm going to run by people on a new thread. Might be a dumb question but I'll ask anywaybabydinosnoreless wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 9:46 amI'm not sure if the 11 works different but the Aircurve 10 asks you each morning.
